1955 Chevrolet Coupe
ID# 111346
Here is a really nice 55 Chevy coupe. I built it to replicate the 55 that was raced in American Graffiti. The body is a Ford semi gloss satin black the roof and pillars are gloss black. The grill has hand painted red inserts in the grill. The end result is stunning. It has an aggressive stance but not over the top.

Power comes from a balanced Chevy 350 with headers and a mild cam. There is a high rise intake and a double pump carburetor. The transmission is a 4 speed Muncie. I upgraded drum brakes to a Wilwood 4 wheel brake set up. Now she stops on a dime. There are new 7's and 8's American Racing torque thrust wheels with almost new tires.

The rear wheel arches are professionally installed Nomad fender arches with a lip, not just radiused in. New lenses and emblems all the way around. There is also a ingenious theft prevention system that a previous owner installed. There is some rust on the inner sills that is under the car and not visible or structural so I have left it alone. There are new floors professionally installed by a previous owner. The trunk appears to be original and free of rust.

If they do not pass there will be NO additional cleaning costs charged to you.

The above price includes NATA Approved Asbestos Testing on all West Coast vehicles. If they test positive for asbestos only in the brakes, there will be an A$400 fee for the removal, installation of new brake pads and reinspection. The A$400 fee does not include the cost for the new brake pads. If asbestos is found elsewhere we will consult with you what options you have to move forward.

We are working on a similar solution for the East Coast vehicles.
