ID# 111577
1952 AUSTIN Sheerline. I have owned for 27 YEARS. It has been parked in the back of my garage all that time.
It was recently pulled out into the daylight and after fitting new batteries (2 x 6 volts = 12 volts), the old girl fired up with fresh gas. 6 cylinder. 4 speed.
Eight seat limousine with divider and jump seats.
The car is running and driving. Brakes work. 4 speed column shift works.
This car needs a cosmetic restoration. The body is sound and virtually rust free. It will, however, need completely re-upholstering.
Mechanically very sound with excellent oil pressure.
It incorporates four hydraulically operated jacks that lift the 4 wheels off the ground.
Many Sheerlines were sacrified in the seventies when the hard to find P100 Lucas headlights were worth more than the whole car. This model is a survivor and well worth saving.
A reconditioned steering wheel and all new dashboard knobs.
Also comes with the original owner's handbook, parts manual and workshop manual. Complete original tool kit.

All West Coast vehicles that do not have wood as part of their manufacture (eg pickup truck with wooden bed or old vehicle with wood interior) and qualify for our pre-cleaning certification are guaranteed to pass Australia Quarantine upon entry. If they do not pass there will be NO additional cleaning costs charged to you.

The above price includes NATA Approved Asbestos Testing on all West Coast vehicles. If they test positive for asbestos only in the brakes, there will be an A$400 fee for the removal, installation of new brake pads and reinspection. The A$400 fee does not include the cost for the new brake pads. If asbestos is found elsewhere we will consult with you what options you have to move forward.

We are working on a similar solution for the East Coast vehicles.
