1966 Ford Mustang Coupe, C-code 289

3 speed manual, Engine and Transmission in car. Car comes with a lot of new sheet metal ready to install. New floorboards have been welded in place. New sheet metal includes: Hood, Deck Lid, Full Quarter Panels, rear wheel wells, valance, radiator support, front fender aprons, and few other misc items. All of the glass and seats are in good condition.

Needs a full restoration and will need to be towed (tires may hold air long enough to pull onto a flatbed). Everything that was removed was bagged and tagged. The cowl tank will need to be replaced and I do not have that as part of the sheet metal. The engine and transmission was removed at one point, but put back into the car when I moved it out of the garage. I never took the engine apart.

Please note that the interior has been removed from the car. The pics shown are before I started work on the floor boards to show the condition of the seats. I have everything pictured except the carpet. The headliner is still in place. The car was inside my garage from 2011 till last summer.

It is currently inside a temporary shelter to keep it dry.

All West Coast vehicles that do not have wood as part of their manufacture (eg pickup truck with wooden bed or old vehicle with wood interior) and qualify for our pre-cleaning certification are guaranteed to pass Australia Quarantine upon entry. If they do not pass there will be NO additional cleaning costs charged to you.

The above price includes NATA Approved Asbestos Testing on all West Coast vehicles. If they test positive for asbestos only in the brakes, there will be an A$400 fee for the removal, installation of new brake pads and reinspection. The A$400 fee does not include the cost for the new brake pads. If asbestos is found elsewhere we will consult with you what options you have to move forward.

We are working on a similar solution for the East Coast vehicles.
